Refunds & cancellations
Terms for deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds on advisory engagements with Content Covebase Consulting Co., Ltd.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to prepaid fees for consulting engagements described on this site—succession planning, governance design, ownership transition advisory, and readiness coaching. This site does not sell physical goods or software subscriptions.
Deposits
Engagements typically require a deposit of 30% of the quoted fee to reserve advisor calendar time. Deposits are confirmed in the engagement letter.
Cancellation by the client
- Cancel 14 or more days before the kickoff session: full refund of unused prepaid fees, minus any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred with your approval (for example booked venue fees).
- Cancel fewer than 14 days before kickoff: deposit may be retained to cover preparation already begun; remaining prepaid fees for unused stages are refundable.
- Cancel after kickoff: fees for completed stages are non-refundable; unused future stages may be refunded on a pro-rata basis after deducting work already delivered.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule facilitated sessions once at no charge with at least five business days’ notice. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a reasonable administrative fee stated in your engagement letter.
No-shows
If key principals miss a booked facilitated session without notice, that session may be counted as delivered. We will offer one make-up slot within thirty days when calendars allow.
Work already started
Interview notes, maps, and draft recommendations prepared before cancellation remain billable for time spent. Prepaid amounts covering unfinished stages beyond that work are eligible for partial refund.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs you approved in writing, completed coaching months already delivered, and finalized written deliverables already accepted are non-refundable.
Refund process & timing
Email hello@content-covebase.click with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible.
Our cancellations
If we must cancel an engagement for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of unused prepaid fees or the option to reschedule with the same advisors.
